Optimizer vulnerability in Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.28 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify data or crash the server. Oracle identifies the Server: Optimizer component but has not published the faulty operation or input that triggers the condition. A high-privilege MySQL account and network access via a supported protocol are required; successful exploitation can alter all accessible data and cause a hang or repeatable crash.
