Data modification via malformed LDAP authority parsing

Improper URI validation in Oracle Java SE JNDI allows remote attackers to alter Java-accessible data through crafted LDAP URLs. The com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapURL parser accepts forbidden characters in an LDAP authority, so java.net.URI validation can approve a trusted host while JNDI resolves an attacker-controlled host. Exposure requires an application or sandboxed client to pass untrusted URLs into JNDI; the documented impact is limited to data modification.
