System hang or crash via undisclosed kernel flaw
Published Apr 19, 2022 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Denial of service in the Oracle Solaris 11 kernel allows local users to cause a system hang or repeatable crash through local access. Oracle has not published the affected kernel locus or the operation it performs incorrectly on attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires a low-privileged login and interaction by another person, and the resulting availability loss can extend beyond the Solaris instance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
