Low-privileged local data disclosure
Published Apr 19, 2022 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Information disclosure in Oracle VM VirtualBox Core before 6.1.34 allows local users to read a subset of accessible data. Oracle has not published the vulnerable function or the operation that mishandles attacker-controlled input in the Core component. Exploitation requires a low-privileged host logon, needs no user interaction, and is limited to disclosure beyond the product security boundary.
