Code execution via unchecked data-node array index
Published Apr 19, 2022 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
An out-of-bounds read in affected MySQL Cluster releases allows remote attackers to execute code as the data-node service account. The data node processes user-supplied job data without validating an array index, which reads past the end of the array. Oracle identifies 7.4.35 and earlier, 7.5.25 and earlier, 7.6.21 and earlier, and 8.0.28 and earlier as affected, and rates exploitation as requiring high privileges, adjacent-segment access, and interaction by another person; success permits cluster takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
