Remote code execution via NetworkServlet SQL injection
Published Jul 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
SQL injection in Advantech iView before 5.7.04.6469 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted NetworkServlet requests. The NetworkServlet endpoint on TCP port 8080 builds SQL queries from a user-supplied string without proper neutralization. Authentication is not required, and exploitation can disclose or alter database information and, when chained with another flaw, execute as SYSTEM.
