High-privilege data tampering via HTTP

An access control flaw in Oracle Communications Operations Monitor 3.4, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 5.0 lets remote authenticated users alter data via HTTP. The Mediation Engine accepts a request from a high-privileged network user and permits unauthorized updates, inserts, deletes, and reads, but Oracle has not disclosed the specific handler or validation error. The same access can partially interrupt service, so exploitation requires valid high-level credentials and an HTTP-reachable Operations Monitor instance.
