CVE-2022-2137Network attack vector

Information disclosure via unvalidated SNMP community strings

Published Jul 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

SQL injection in Advantech iView before 5.7.04.6469 allows remote authenticated users to disclose sensitive information over TCP port 8080. NetworkServlet's addDeviceTreeItem action constructs SQL queries from device_get_community and device_set_community strings without proper validation. High-privileged authentication is required, although ZDI reports that the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed; disclosure occurs in the SYSTEM context.
