Service interruption via excessive TIFF allocation

Resource exhaustion in Oracle Java SE 11.0.13 and 17.0.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt Java applications via crafted TIFF images. TIFFFaxDecompressor, TIFFLZWDecompressor, and TIFFPackBitsDecompressor allocate excessive memory while decoding a small malicious TIFF. Exposure requires an application, sandboxed client, or web service to pass attacker-controlled image data to ImageIO; successful exploitation depletes memory and partially interrupts the Java process.
