Unauthenticated service interruption
Published Jan 19, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2026
Uncontrolled resource consumption in Oracle Java SE Libraries allows remote attackers to interrupt service via multiple protocols. Oracle identifies only the Libraries component and has not disclosed the specific code locus, input, or resource operation responsible for the exhaustion. Reachability requires untrusted code in a sandboxed Java deployment or an application, such as a web service, that passes attacker-controlled data to an affected API; the reported consequence is a partial service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
