Server-file disclosure via unrestricted external entities
Published Jul 25, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
XML external entity injection in OpenKM Community Edition 6.3.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files. XMLTextExtractor obtains an XMLReader without disabling external DTD loading, parameter entities, general entities, or validation before parsing document content. A low-privileged account and a crafted document are required; successful processing exposes parser-accessible server data and can interrupt extraction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
