CVE-2022-21225Public exploit

Privilege escalation via getRoomRackData SQL injection

Published Aug 18, 2022 · Updated May 5, 2025

SQL injection in Intel Data Center Manager before 4.1 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges via adjacent network access. The getRoomRackData action passes the dataName value into a database query without proper neutralization, allowing crafted input to alter SQL and reach command execution. Access requires an authenticated DCM account and a network position adjacent to the management server; exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
