Code execution via malformed CXP project files

Out-of-bounds read in OMRON CX-Programmer 9.76.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code or disclose data through a crafted CXP file. The CXP project-file loading path reads beyond an allocated buffer when processing malformed file content; OMRON has not disclosed the affected function or field. Exploitation requires a local user to open the attacker-supplied file, after which code executes in that user's process or process memory is exposed.
