Arbitrary command execution via Mercurial URL alias

Command injection in Tony Narlock libvcs before 0.11.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands through a Mercurial URL. The Mercurial repository obtain path passes the URL to hg clone before an end-of-options marker, so a leading --config option defines a clone alias that runs a shell command. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled repository URLs to Mercurial-backed obtain() or update_repo() operations.
