Published Feb 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025

Improper access control in Intel Crypto API Toolkit for Intel SGX before 2.0 commit 91ee496 allows local users to escalate privileges. Intel has not published the affected function, access-control decision, or input path that permits the privilege boundary to be crossed. A low-privileged local account is required; the reported consequence is higher privileges with confidentiality and integrity impact, not service interruption.
