Stored XSS via unsanitized table data
Published Jun 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in InvenTree before 0.7.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via saved table data. The table renderer passes database-backed strings, including nested values used by custom formatters, to browser views without HTML escaping. An attacker needs a highly privileged account to store the payload, and another user must view the affected table for script execution in that user's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
