File disclosure and executable writes via weak credentials
Published Jun 24, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Improper access control in Sécheron SEPCOS firmware allows remote attackers with weak credentials to read and write files through FTP. The FTP service exposes its TCP file-transfer interface without adequately enforcing credential strength, permitting access to sensitive files and remotely executable directories. Network reachability of the open FTP port and possession or guessing of weak credentials are required; successful access permits file disclosure and executable-content placement.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
