CVE-2022-2098Network attack vector

Weak account protection via missing password validation

Published Jun 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Weak password requirements in Titra before 0.78.1 allow remote attackers to create accounts protected by easily guessed passwords. The registration and password-change flows accepted passwords without enforcing a minimum length; the fix adds an eight-character minimum and validation calls. Registration, a reset token, or an authenticated session is required; the flaw weakens account protection but does not itself grant access.
