Privilege escalation via direct management requests
Published Jan 18, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Access-control bypass in Cisco ISE 2.6 and earlier, 2.7, 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 allows remote authenticated users to take privileged actions. The web interface accepts direct requests to an undisclosed feature without applying the application's intended authorization checks. A valid authorized account is required; exploitation changes management state through actions normally denied to that account, with no reported data disclosure or service interruption.
