Arbitrary file overwrite in the CLI of Cisco RoomOS allows local users with Administrator access to replace files through a symbolic link. The CLI follows a symbolic link placed at a specific local filesystem location and writes to the link target without enforcing the target file's access controls. Administrator-level local access is required, and successful exploitation changes arbitrary files on the affected collaboration device.
