Denial of service in Cisco Catalyst 9100 Series Access Points allows remote attackers to reload the device via crafted 802.11 association requests. The access point insufficiently validates parameters in received association frames, allowing a malformed request to trigger an unexpected reload. The attacker must be adjacent to the wireless device and unauthenticated; the bounded consequence is service interruption without reported data disclosure or modification.
