Privilege escalation in Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem before 8-202206 allows remote authenticated users to become System Admin. The web management interface exposes sensitive user information in certain logs without adequate protection, enabling the role elevation. An authenticated account with access to the affected logs is required, and successful use grants System Admin privileges.
