CVE-2022-20930

File corruption via root-level CLI argument injection

Published Sep 30, 2022 · Updated Nov 1, 2024

Command injection in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files through crafted CLI input. The CLI insufficiently validates argument delimiters and passes injected commands for execution under the root account. Highly privileged local access is required; overwriting system files can corrupt the installation and interrupt service.
