Cross-user VPN access via authorization check flaw

Authentication bypass in Cisco ASA Software and Firepower Threat Defense Software allows remote attackers with valid VPN credentials to gain another user's privileges. Authorization verification during VPN authentication accepts a crafted packet and associates the session with a different user's access rights. Exploitation requires network reachability to the VPN service and valid credentials; the documented consequence is unauthorized privilege scope, not device takeover or service interruption.
