Device reload via malformed CIP packet processing

Denial of service in Cisco IOS with CIP enabled allows remote attackers to force an affected device to reload via malformed CIP packets. CIP packet processing fails to validate malformed input before handling it, allowing an uncaught exception to trigger the reload. Reachability requires CIP to be enabled, but no authentication or user interaction is required, and a successful request interrupts service.
