A buffer overflow in Cisco Small Business RV router web interfaces allows remote authenticated users to run root commands or reboot devices. The interface fails to validate user fields in crafted HTTP packets before handling them, enabling an out-of-bounds buffer copy. Valid Administrator credentials are required; LAN access is always available, while WAN access requires remote management to be enabled.
