Input-validation flaws in Cisco RV110W, RV130, RV130W, and RV215W routers allow remote authenticated users to run root commands or restart devices. The web management interface fails to validate user-controlled fields in crafted HTTP packets before processing them, leading to a classic buffer overflow. Administrator credentials are required; the interface is always reachable from the LAN and is exposed through the WAN only when remote management is enabled.
