Device reload via malformed MPLS IPv4 packet

Denial of service in Cisco IOS XE Software on affected Catalyst switches allows remote attackers to reload devices via malformed IPv4 traffic. The egress MPLS packet-processing function insufficiently validates IPv4 traffic before transmitting a malformed packet through an MPLS-enabled interface. Exploitation requires a vulnerable IOS XE release with MPLS configured and causes an unexpected device reload that interrupts switching service.
