Stored script execution via unsanitized notice content
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Bank Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user’s browser. mnotice.php stores the notice parameter without filtering script markup, then renders the stored content when the recipient opens the notice. Administrative access is required to submit a notice, and a recipient must view it for the injected script to execute in that recipient’s session.
