Private-key disclosure via faulty RSA-CRT signatures

Information disclosure in affected Cisco ASA Software releases allows remote attackers to retrieve an RSA private key via faulty TLS signatures. A logic error in hardware-backed RSA key handling can corrupt an in-memory RSA key, causing RSA-CRT signature faults from which a Lenstra side-channel calculation derives the private key. Exposure requires a listed hardware platform and one of the roughly five percent of RSA keys with susceptible characteristics; a recovered key enables device impersonation or traffic decryption.
