Administrator action forgery via missing CSRF protections
Published Jul 21, 2022 · Updated Nov 1, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Cisco Nexus Dashboard before 2.2(1e) allows remote attackers to perform Administrator actions. The management-network web UI lacks sufficient CSRF protections, so a malicious link can submit requests through an administrator's authenticated browser. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to click the link; successful requests execute with Administrator privileges.
