CVE-2022-20852Network attack vector

UI deception via unvalidated frame embedding

Published Aug 10, 2022 · Updated Nov 1, 2024

Frame hijacking in Cisco Webex Meetings allows remote attackers to embed arbitrary frames through crafted links clicked by a user. Certain web-interface pages fail to validate user-supplied input before permitting arbitrary frames inside a legitimate Webex page. No authentication is required, but user interaction is required; the resulting UI deception supports further social engineering.
