Unauthenticated information disclosure via hard-coded GUI credentials
Published Sep 30, 2022 · Updated Nov 1, 2024
Authentication bypass in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager with SD-AVC enabled allows remote attackers to read managed device and network details. The SD-AVC GUI on TCP port 10502 accepts a default static username and password, exposing device names, logs, and DNS server IP addresses. Exposure requires SD-AVC on a self-managed cloud or local-server deployment, or a Cisco-hosted deployment whose GUI was exposed on request.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
