Command injection in Cisco Small Business RV Series Router Firmware allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute arbitrary Linux commands. The Open Plug and Play module passes malicious provisioning input to command execution without sufficient validation. Exploitation requires a man-in-the-middle position or an established foothold on a network device connected to the router, and successful attacks run arbitrary commands on the underlying Linux system.
