Client-side code execution via unsigned ASDM images

Improper ASDM image validation in Cisco ASA Software allows remote authenticated administrators to execute code on an ASDM user's machine. ASA accepts crafted ASDM packages whose contents are not authenticated by a Cisco digital signature, then distributes their components when ASDM connects. Exploitation requires device-administrator privileges, enabled HTTPS management, vulnerable ASA, ASDM, and launcher releases, and a user who manages that device through ASDM.
