Traffic interception via unvalidated self-signed certificate

Improper certificate validation in Cisco Expressway-C and TelePresence VCS before 14.2 allows remote attackers to intercept or alter traffic. When connecting to Cisco Unified Communications Manager, the device accepts a self-signed SSL server certificate without validating the endpoint. Exploitation requires a man-in-the-middle position between the systems and permits cleartext traffic to be read or modified; Expressway-E is unaffected.
