Script execution via unvalidated management link input
Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Unified CM before 11.5(1)SU11, 12.5(1)SU6, and 14SU1 allows remote attackers to execute script. The web-based management interface fails to validate user-supplied input in a crafted URL before returning it to a user's browser. Exploitation requires a user to follow the link and permits script execution in the interface context or access to sensitive browser-based information.
