User-privileged actions via insufficient CSRF protections
Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
CSRF in vulnerable Cisco Unified Communications Manager releases allows remote authenticated users to act with a targeted user's privileges. The web-based management interface applies insufficient CSRF protection, so a crafted link can submit requests through the user's authenticated session. Exploitation requires high-privileged access and persuading an interface user to click the link; resulting actions inherit that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
