Credential disclosure via unencrypted audit logging
Published Jul 6, 2022 · Updated Nov 1, 2024
Information disclosure in Cisco RoomOS Software allows remote authenticated users to obtain credentials from extended audit logs. The logging component writes certain credentials without encryption into audit logs, which can also capture network traffic and PII. The condition exists only when extended logging is enabled, which is disabled by default, and RoomOS Cloud log access requires Administrator-level credentials.
