Authenticated privilege escalation via tunnel-group omission

Privilege escalation in Cisco ASA Software allows remote authenticated users to obtain level 15 access through the web services interface. Omitting tunnel-group data from an ASDM-style HTTPS login makes the authentication fallback accept any valid linked-domain account without checking ASA administrative authorization. HTTPS Management Access and either IKEv2 Client Services or WebVPN must be enabled, and the source address must pass the management ACL; the resulting session can administer the device and invoke its command API.
