Checkpoint manager restart via malformed TCP data

Improper input validation in Cisco Redundancy Configuration Manager before 21.24.0 allows remote attackers to restart checkpoint manager. The checkpoint manager accepts a malformed ingress TCP packet without adequate validation and restarts while processing the crafted data. No authentication or user interaction is required; repeated packets can interrupt checkpoint management, while no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
