Authenticated data disclosure via input-dependent authorization bypass
Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Information disclosure in Cisco Firepower Management Center before 7.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to view unauthorized data. The input protection mechanism treats the existence or value of a specific, undisclosed request input as an authorization decision, so modifying that input bypasses the intended data-scope check. A valid FMC account and a crafted network request are required; the result is read-only access to data beyond that account's authorized scope.
