Unrestricted file upload in Cisco Firepower Management Center allows remote authenticated users to store files for later root code execution. The web management interface inadequately validates uploaded files and accepts maliciously crafted content despite its security protections. A valid FMC account and network access to that interface are required; stored files can support subsequent attacks that execute code as root.
