CVE-2022-20734

Sensitive file disclosure through unrestricted vshell access

Published May 4, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024

Information disclosure in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager 20.6 before 20.6.3 and 20.7 before 20.7.2 allows local users to read OS files. The vshell reached through the management CLI applies file-system restrictions that fail to confine netadmin accounts from sensitive operating-system files. Exploitation requires authenticated local CLI access and netadmin privileges; the resulting access discloses files but does not alter them or interrupt service.
