Line-card reset via malformed packet handling

Denial of service in Cisco IOS XR Software 7.1 and 7.3 before 7.3.2 allows remote attackers to reset Lightspeed-Plus line cards. The data plane microcode incorrectly handles a crafted IPv4 or IPv6 packet traversing an affected card and performs a hard reset during recovery. Exposure requires an affected ASR router with Lightspeed-Plus hardware; the reset interrupts all traffic crossing that card.
