Unauthenticated file overwrite via web UI validation failure
Published Feb 10, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Arbitrary file overwrite in Cisco RV340 and RV345 firmware 1.0.03.24 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter files via crafted HTTP requests. Specific web UI components inadequately validate request input before modifying files served by the web UI process. No authentication or user interaction is required; file tampering can expose confidential data, including stored web session tokens, without interrupting service.
