BGP process crash via malformed RTR header

Denial of service in Cisco IOS XE Software allows remote attackers to crash the BGP process via a crafted RPKI RTR packet header. The RPKI implementation incorrectly handles a specific RTR Protocol packet header, causing BGP to restart continuously and destabilizing routing. Exploitation requires an in-use RPKI configuration plus control of the validator server or a man-in-the-middle position on its established TCP connection.
