Browser script execution via unvalidated link input
Published May 27, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Common Services Platform Collector before 2.10.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates user-supplied input in a crafted link, causing it to execute as script in the interface context. Exploitation requires a user to click the link and permits access to sensitive browser-based information within that interface.
