Reflected XSS via unsanitized login username
Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in FacturaScripts before 2022.06 allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts through a crafted fsNick login value. The AppController::userAuth method inserts the unescaped fsNick value into the user-not-found warning rendered in the login response. Exploitation requires no account but requires a user to open the crafted login request; script execution is limited to that user's browser context.
