Stored script execution via inline SVG delivery
Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in FacturaScripts before 2022.06 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through an uploaded SVG file. AppRouter::getFile serves an uploaded SVG inline with its detected MIME type instead of forcing attachment download, allowing the browser to interpret embedded script. Exploitation requires a low-privileged account to upload the file and another user to open it; script execution is confined to that viewer's browser context.
